Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

My junior year I was captain of my cross country team. During track, I lead my team of pole vaulters during practice and meets. I encourage my teams to help the community as this year I am the social leader/coordinator for my cross country team. We have participated in many volunteering positions such as Day of Caring.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a huge supporter of volunteering in our community. I have seen the effects of the work I have done before and it humbles my heart and continues to drive me to take part more frequently. My family volunteers to re-roof houses as they deteriorate. We participate in Day of Caring and various service projects through our church.
