Other Academic Information
I am scoring 33 on ACT practice tests, so I am confident I will raise my score on the October 24th ACT test date. My ACT Science score was 32 for my first sitting, and Math will definitely increase. I will take the ACT Writing section as well during this sitting. Currently, I attend Lutheran South Academy where I take AP Physics, Honors Biology II and PreCalculus. I will play on Varsity this year for LSA. My junior year, I attended Brewster Academy where I took Chemistry 1 and Accelerated Algebra II. Athletically at Brewster, I played Varsity Basketball and rowed Crew for Varsity in the Spring. I received the honor of Coaches Award for Varsity crew where I rowed on both our Varsity V1 Boat and the Varsity V2 Boat. I attended two years at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory where I played JV and Varsity Basketball during my freshman and sophomore years. I also received academic Honor Roll and National Honor Society at Strake.

Personal Highlights

I am a 6' 10" senior 3rd year Varsity, 1 year Jr. Varsity player. I am very athletic, fast and agile. I play currently for Lutheran South Academy and I am very excited about the possibility of playing college level basketball at a highly academic university. I am interested in marine biology and enjoy any type of watersport from wakeboarding to scuba diving. I am looking for a good fit both athletically and academically. Although I am still undecided on a major, I am looking for schools strong in the areas of biology and sciences, as well as engineering and business. I am a very hard worker both on the court and off. Thank you for taking a look at my profile.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I worked as a summer aide at Camp No Limits/Limb Loss Foundation, a summer camp for kids and adults with limb loss. This was a really humbling, eye-opening and valuable experience for me.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I eat very healthy foods and I feel that by putting healthy foods into my body, I can ask maximum performance from my body. I work very hard with strengthening and conditioning and have pushed myself to put on about 45 pounds of muscle in the last year. In order for me to play center and power forward, I have an easier time, and enjoy the position more with the added muscle.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I tutor from time to time and worked at Mathnasium Tutoring as an aide during the summer. I have also volunteered time to work at local food banks both stocking shelves and helping with intake and outgoing items to people in need.
