Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love the game of baseball. I have played it since the age of five, and it is what I want to do for the rest of my life. For me baseball is more than just a game. It is a way of life. It is a sport and profession that teaches today's youth life lessons that can be applied every day. I want to be part of the cycle that gives back one day.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have learned that the only way to become a better leader is to put myself in leadership positions and practice leadership. I am part of my high school JROTC unit, and that also provides me great training. I also give back to my community and church by serving in our music ministry as part of the worship team.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I have learned that success is determined by my ability to manage my time and priorities. I must compete in the classroom just as much as I would on the field. My priorities are set: God, family, school, and then baseball. It is that balance that gives me the most joy in all that I do.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a Christian, and I believe that our world needs love. I serve almost every Sunday in my church, and our church often serves the community. I enjoy participating in outreach projects that impact people's lives. I have also been on one mission trip with my family.
