Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the court, I try to get my teammates pumped up and motivated to work and get better. Off the court, I try to help my teammates and other students be better academically. I sometimes tutor students when they are struggling and often help them plan a schedule so that they have time to get everything done and do not become stressed.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete, I believe that it is a priority to maintain a balance between athletics and academics. I plan my schedule so that I have time to study and do homework where I can do a great job on it. I go all out at practice and try to get better. I also set aside time a couple days a week to see friends and see how they are doing and socialize with them for a little while.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Community service is a big thing for me. I think that I live a good life and that I am blessed to have what I do. I try to volunteer in the community to help people that are struggling and dont have it as good as I do. I love to help people and community service is satisfying to me because I know that I am making a difference in someones life.
