Personal Highlights

I am a multi-sport athlete. This fall I was a member of a club soccer team, ran cross country and was the kicker on the football team. I was an individual cross country regional qualifier and an all -conference runner. Our football team was 1A sectional champions and also regional champions. I also have competed in track the past 3 years.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I always exemplify hard work on the field/court. I feel the harder I work the harder my teammates will work. Off the court, I am the President of the National Honor Society. I lead by example by being a strong student and a good roll model at school and in my community.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I believe a healthy lifestyle promotes athletic performance. I try to eat healthy foods and get plenty of sleep at night. Eating fast food is rare for me. Luckily I have parents who cook well balanced meals for my siblings and me. They make it a priority to see that we are well educated in nutrition so when we go to college we make good choices.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a member of the Crossroads Bank Jr. Board of Directors. This organization allows me to learn about ways to serve others in my community and the opportunity to volunteer my time. Many organizations would not be able to function without volunteers. Being someone who helps others and can make a difference is important to me.
