Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am trying to gather fellow student-athletes to lead on a mission trip with me to Nicaragua. I try to be a good example by excelling both on the field and in the classroom.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Always working to maintain balance between academics and athletics, but always working to improve on my down time by attending athletic training classes and staying up and current events.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am returning to Nicaragua for the third summer as a Missionary with Open Hearts Children's Ministry.
