Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to continue the journey of diving after high school into college. I want to be able to represent my school and team in the best way I can.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

In diving, I've always been the one who cheers and supports people even for my high school swimming team. I always support everyone, which is why I'm co-captain of my high school diving team. In school, I always try to help my peers. I've spent time after and before school to help someone understand a concept that they don't completely know.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I achieve good grades the first time, so I don't have to worry about raising my grades during diving season. School comes first so I budget my time so that I can get my school work done. It is something I made a habit when I was a gymnast and transfered that skill for diving. I also try to workout, and do as much flexibility as I can, so I can stay fit. I try to eat healthy meets, keep my results in perspective and just go out and have fun.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I help foster dogs because I believe that it isn't right to dump a dog off on the street. It's for me to help dogs that have been neglected for most of their life. I have fostered 3 dogs in the past year. It's the greatest feeling when they get adopted and they leave you because you know you have helped a dog and a family.
I also spend my time at Young At Art Museum which is a children's museum. I love digital photography, so spending my time in an art museum seemed like a perfect fit. Plus, during the summer I work with young kids to help them learn about photography.
