I got a very late start and first played lacrosse as Freshman in HS. By Sophmore year, I taught myself to face-off and had over 35 goals for JV season. Then moved up to Varsity for last few games of the season. Junior year I was the starting Varsity Face Off specialist and Offensive Midfielder. My top shot was clocked at 96mph and my goal is to get it up to 100 mph this year. I have a pretty good shot percentage. My face off percentage has run about 50 to 55%. I am working daily to improve all of my stats.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field, I try and work hard and maintain a positive demeanor, not letting emotions take control. I try and play smart and do what is best for the team. Off the field, I have helped run practices and coach my younger brother's team and I enjoy training them. . In addition, I have assisted with our not for profit in the execution of many of our events, most recently our race in Los Angeles.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I work hard to manage my time. To get enough sleep and to eat properly are very important. High protein, low fat, with many vegetables and whole grains in my diet along with daily exercise and lacrosse practice even if only in the backyard or on the wall.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am the Vice President of The Brad Kaminsky Foundation for Brain Tumor and Cancer Research. I have participated in events nationwide since I was a child and have taken on substantial responsibilities as I entered High School. We have donated over one million dollars to childhood and adult brain tumor and cancer research. This is not just what I do, it is who I am. It has always been a part of my life.
