Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

My High school cross country team hosts an annual kids camp every summer, at which I helped out, by leading many of the events and giving a small speech to the kids about running. In addition, throughout the cross country season I helped to get my team mates to maintain good grades by having weekly study/tutoring sessions.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

At all times in my running career my priorities have been in line. Although this may sound unlike other runners, school is my first priority, because I know that it has the most effect on my future out of all the things I do. After that I take care of the people I care about, making sure they are happy. And finally, after that, I worry about my running career, and to get quality training in. All of those things though don't mean that I slack on my running, they just sometimes mean that I have to get up at 3 am to run and do math homework. I know exactly what my priorities are and I know exactly how to manage them.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I often volunteer with the Columbus Running Company and Take it to the streets homeless connection, as well as volunteering at various Hilliard City Schools events. All of these things are important to me because they help to develop the communities of people I surround myself with. By making the lives of other people in my community better, I make a better future for those that follow in my footsteps.
