Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Not only am I involved in lacrosse, I also have been in a club called FFA all throughout high school. The last two years I have been greatly honored to serve as a Chapter Officer for our schools academy. This is an amazing accomplishment for this club. Becoming a leader for FFA has showed me true responsibilities as well as real-world situations & opportunities. This club has helped me become more involved in my future career, Veterinary Medicine. I'm am truly greatful for this program.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Being an athlete, you really need to keep up with your health. The most important part of my days, are the meals to keep me powered up for conditioning, games, etc. The saying "you are what you eat", could never be more true in my book. Staying active and eating healthy foods are my favorite things to do as an athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

On most of my Saturday's, I take care of animals at my local shelter. Helping out by cleaning cages, feeding the animals, walking the dogs & getting them a new warm welcoming home! These experiences not only help my community, but help me get the experience of my future career.
