Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a leader in my family. As the oldest, I have to set good examples for my three younger siblings. In the classroom, I lead my project teams to success by setting high standards and holding members accountable. On the court, I push my fellow teammates to their maxes by challenging them and motivating them with positive encouragement. I give my all to challenge them and raise the bar.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete, I get 10-11 hours of sleep per night. I eat well-balanced meals, lift weights everyday, and manage to find a little bit of rest time. I go to hot yoga on the weekends to keep my muscles stretched and to take a mental breather. I put my studies first and do not procrastinate. I manage my time efficiently as to have enough time for all.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I was Hands 4 Hope Senior Citizens Club President. As President, I organized many events to help the local senior citizens' home. This is very important to me because life is not a one way street. God commands us Christians to serve others and that is what I intend to do.
