Leadership, Great attitude, Very Physical Player, Constant Desire To Improve In All Areas.

Dalton is a 10th grader in 2018, Captain of the Varsity and JV squads, leads the defense, and leads the team by example. Dalton played a perfect game the first game, them on game 3 broke his fibula taking the ball from the back up the left side and all the way forward, a player accidentally got him from behind and he was out for 5 weeks. He had a great attitude and when the player approached him after the game, he said no problem, it is part of the game. Dalton hopped around on one leg after the injury and got home. He was put in a boot and still attended all practices that were not conflicting with Doctors appointments, as now his job was to coach the other defenders and lead the team through strategy, building up players and assisting the coaches every need. During his time out our young team lost to the reigning state champions (11 seniors) 6-1, he worked the defense along with the coaches to play them again to lose 3-0. Now Dalton is back and got to play in 2-3 regular season games and is back to the full 80 minutes. They just advanced to the state playoffs as the #2 seed in the west in the GICAA. Our team won the first game 3-1 against a tough Alleluia Team out of Augusta (2016 State Champions) We play the #1 Seed in the South bracket Tuesday 5/1/2018 Sherwood Academy, and if we win we advance to play our rivals for the state championship at full strength on Saturday 5/4/2018. Dalton is now building his team up with the information that beating a reigning state championship team that is full of seniors is a better accomplishment than beating a team that lost of it seniors the previous year, building a sense of urgency and building the fight. Dalton believes his addition to the lineup will be enough to take the 3-0 lose to a win for us, by moving players back to their positions that had to weaken the attack by moving attacking players to defense. Just watch what we can accomplish with this group of boys. Third in State 2018 Lost in semi finals.

2019 season in a new league, over 3 game period had 3 assists from over 50 years in back to back to back games. 4 assists 3 of which were from over 50 yards and 1 of 1 PK goal.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have aspirations of playing professionally in Europe.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I aggressively take a leadership role, I work harder than everyone on the field and am the last to leave the practice field. I lead by example and make excellence a 100 percent effort.

I take the same approach off the field, I am always striving to do better and to help others. I encourage the younger players and drive them towards leadership as well.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I work hard and sensible, I stretch before and after practice to reduce chances of injuries, I am focused on doing the right things to pursue my conditioning as well as eating a good diet and drinking mostly water.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
