Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

In my sophomore year I was named Captain of my high school varsity softball squad because of my leadership and team bonding efforts. When my girls are down I always pick them up either by a quick chat or just pointing out something positive they did in the game.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Being healthy is an important part of being an athlete. Hydration is key. Playing softball 10 months out of the year requires me to eat well, exercise, hydrate, & get plenty of rest.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Help referee & coach youth sports in the middle school athletic program (Softball & Field Hockey) This is important to me because helping my cities youth gain the knowledge and confidence to be good athletes and succeed in life is very rewarding.
