2016 Summer Season
2016 Fall Season
-I actively foster rescue dogs over the summers and during any long breaks from school
Because I truly enjoy the sport of rowing and I can't imagine my life without it. The feeling that I get when training for regattas and competing in races is a feeling incomparable to anything that I have ever felt before
I am one of the co-president of my schools Spanish honor society and I'm also a section leader for the mellophones in my schools marching band.
I make an effort to attend all of the winter conditioning practices and workout on my own during any breaks we might have. I also make sure that I eat a healthy diet and go to the school trainer if I ever think I may have an injury.
Over the summer I train with a personal trainer where we focus on weight training and cardio. During this time, I follow a high-protein diet to help create and maintain my muscle mass. In order to adhire to my diet as closely as possible, I personally prepare all of my food.
I volunteer for an organization called city dogs rescue. I try to take in a foster dog over the summer and usually temporarily foster dog throughout the school year. This is important to me because I think that every animal deserves a home and fostering helps take these dogs out of high-kill shelters and transition them to life in a home.
