Personal Highlights

I played lacrosse as a goalie, from 5th grade up until the fall of 9th grade. 5-6 grade was thru PAL, 7-8 grade I played on the Lindenhurst Middle School team under Coach Sconone. I played one year travel lacrosse on The Long Island Yellow Jackets team, and one year and the beginning of the following fall season, on The Long Island Express Lacrosse Team. HEAD Coach was Claire Peterson and program directors were Summer Ferraro and Katie McGinty. I also played a year of field hockey and 2 years of volleyball in Lindenhurst Middle School. Currently in St. Anthony's chorus. We will be travelling to Italy to perform for the Pope in the winter of 2017. I enjoy donating my time for community service at The Animal Pantry in West Babylon, helping with the cats that are up for adoption thru Bellabast Cat Rescue. I also enjoy kayaking and swimming. Newest interest is archery. Picked up my first bow this 4th of July Weekend 2016, while vacationing in the Catskills with family. July 23, 2017 - participated in my first "Tough Mudder."

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a lacrosse goalie, the field players look to me for direction on the field. I have to be vocal, and have a keen sense of what is going on (and going to happen), at all times.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Although I have a heavy work load at St. Anthony's, I am very dedicated to crew winter training. I feel the training Is helping my body to become stronger and healthier. Our "Chuckwagon mom" is a nutritionist, and at our fall regattas I was introduced to new healthier food recipes. The crew experience is helping to train both my body and mind.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved with the Bellabast Cat Rescue. I donate my time in helping out with rescued adoptable cats.
