I am the founder, president and chairman of Step Up To The Plate, a foundation that provides baseball equipment to children in need around the United States and around the world. Since starting the goodwill initiative in 2009, I have shipped out nearly $50,000 worth of equipment, through more than 130 projects, to boys and girls in 38 countries. I have also created and held two baseball clinics (one in 2015, one in 2017) for at-risk boys in Mesa, Arizona, and Guadalupe, Arizona. For my philanthropic efforts, I was named one of four national recipients of a grant through US Cellular and its "Future of Good" initiative.
