Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have been in an intensive athlete my whole life. When I was younger, I competed in USA Gymnastics for 8 years, until I switched over to diving. Both schedules have been extremely demanding, but it has ultimately helped me in managing my time with school work. Although academics is my primary focus, diving is extremely important to me and it is something I truly love to do, which is why I hope to continue the sport in college.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field:
Last winter, I was voted Captain of my high school swimming and diving team.

Off the field:
Last year, I traveled to Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic for a service trip and was a "Lead Teacher" for a week. I taught English to students ranging from ages six to twelve.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I am extremely dedicated when it comes to daily workouts and healthy eating. I strongly believe that my workouts improve my diving performance as I become stronger.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in many school clubs as well as outside programs. I am apart of the Best Buddies club, Interact club, Peer Mentors, and Team Harmony in school. All of these programs include some service, allowing each member to meet to people and become involved with the school and the town. Outside of school, I am apart of the Bridging Lives Program, which assigns each member a "little sister" or "little brother" to hang out with and be a role model for. Being apart of this program allowed me to form a special and unforgettable bond with a little girl in my town.
