(2014//Summer) Jefferson Youth Hockey Club (Jefferson Township, New Jersey)
-Volunteered in the training of community youth residents teaching them the fundamentals of skating.
-Assisted the head coach in demonstrated drills to accentuate basic skills, enhance safety ice awareness and to overall encourage individual hockey development.
-Offered support, and provided encouragement to those youth hockey participants to further stimulate their own growth, participation, and level of interest in ice hockey.
(2015//Summer) New Hope Food Pantry// Milton United Methodist Church (Oak Ridge, New Jersey)
-Volunteered in a local community based food distribution center assigned to serve nonperishable foods, pantry, and other non- related items in an effort to serve the community, the residents, and community families that are less fortunate, or impoverished.
-Responsible for sorting, bagging, and the distribution of food items, canned goods, or non-related food products to our local residents, and other families.
(2015-2016) Wanaque Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation (Haskell, New Jersey)
-Volunteered in a 228 bedded Sub-Acute, and Long term nursing home facility.
-Assisted with recreational activities with patients with cognitive deficits, sensory deficits, and physical disabilities within the guidelines of the facility.
-Socially interacted with all assigned patients and participated in their "Sensory/Cognitive Awareness program."
(September 2017) Hurricane Harvey Collection Drive:
Organized a week long local collection drive to help Texas victims affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Worked closely with the Wanaque Rehabilitation Center and with the Bloomingdale Nursing Center in Haskell, New Jersey who assisted with the collection of personal items such soap, cleaning products, food, and water, etc.
All proceeds collected went to the "Convoy of Hope" forTexas sponsored by New Jersey News 12, and the Deal Police Department of New Jersey.
(April 2018-current) Medical Office Student Volunteer- volunteering in a private practice medical office with emphasis on shadowing a Medical Physician specializing in the field of General Family Practice (Ringwood, New Jersey). This experience will further enrich my appreciation and knowledge in both the medical, and biological sciences.
