Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Diving at college has been a dream for me for years. Not only do I love diving, but I love being part of a team and doing everything I can to make the team be as successful as possible. Being part of a team is not only about being an athlete but about being a community member, a supportive team member. and a friend!

Team members share a bond and learn skills that can't be taught in a classroom but are gained through the emotional connection and commitment only a team can provide! It will be an honor to represent a college as a team diver.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I transferred to Chantilly HS my junior year from Long Island. My first season I led the team during competition and in practice. As an experienced diver, I helped the other divers' with coaching, encouragement and being part of a "team". Our team spirit continued out of the pool during after hour fun and summer activities.

In my first year at Chantilly as a junior, I voluntarily joined the leadership class during my free time. I applied for a position in the class for my senior year and was accepted into Leadership. I suggested a homecoming theme and it was chosen for my senior year. We have already started our work for homecoming 2017. -

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

My healthy athletic performance has become part of my routine along with my academics. I dedicate most of my time on weekdays to athletics and academics.

My routine includes a healthy eating routine, approximately 19 hours of weekly training time, school, an after school club and weekend socializing! I look forward to including my new leadership class activities senior year.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I enjoy volunteering at the animal shelter and assisting kids with disabilities in different environments. My huge love for animals provides me with pure enjoyment and unconditional love. I don't find this to be work but something that I love doing! I have assisted with my mother helping kids with disabilities. I enjoy sharing and helping kids socialize and learn new social skills.
