I live with my mother and father and an older sister Ashley who is a sophomore in college, she would like to be a teacher. I also have a big old dog - a mutt named Kolly and a smaller "designer dog" or mutt named Towser after a cartoon dog and a high diving circus dog from around the 1920's.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I am an extremely dedicated and committed diver and student. I would be an integral part of not only your school but your swim/dive team.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I give swim lessons and I am a certified pool and waterfront Lifeguard employed at my high school while volunteering as assistant dive coach for the middle school. These are leadership qualities I am sure you value when making recruiting decisions.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I work closely with my coaches and athletic trainer in the areas of nutrition and exercise. I lead an active lifestyle all year round. I dive all year and am involved in other activities including dryland - gym and life guarding. I try to get enough rest, but sometimes this is difficult.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer as an assistant dive coach for the West Islip Middle School. I think it is important to take something you excel at and help to teach other young adults who may not be able to learn to dive elsewhere. I also am a swim instructor for our town's Children's Swim Lessons. I also lifeguard but more importantly interact with the children at our Family Swim Sessions.
