I strive to get better every day!!! Its a grind to the top no one said it was going to be easy!!!
It is my dream and life goal to wrestle for a big college. I understand the odds are 1% of wrestlers ever get the chance to be there. However that is all I need a 1% chance to show someone the drive, heart , determination, and skill I have to take it all the way to the top
I have been named one of the captains this year 2017. I am only a freshman and first year Varsity 106lb. I am the smallest on the team but the biggest leader, encourager, and recruiter in Merritt Island High wrestling. Their are three other captains who are all seniors. It feels scary at time, but this is how life is and we just need to push on. My coach always says we don't get to the top of the mountain by chance but by working hard every step of the way and I want to be an example of this to my team. This last year in the off season I recorded almost 100matches in AAU tournaments. I also wrestled with South East Regional Training Center (Florida Jet Wrestling) with coach Robinson and Coach Speiller. I learned a tremendous amount of information. I have trained in and out of the weight room. I went to Jeff Jordan State Champ Camp in June ' 17. To be the best you have to train the best and wrestle the best to beat the best.
I truly believe that an excellent diet by cutting out all of the soda's and mainly sugars. Taking care of our bodies both mentally and physical so we can be in the best shape and best performance to compete the best. This is being disciplined to only put good fuel into our bodies.
I love to help younger wrestlers succeed in becoming the best. I help coach the club wrestlers. I love seeing there faces when they are excited on wining a match or hitting a move we worked on in practice
