Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I would like to be recruited to play sports in college for the reason that I believe my talents and ethic are those capable of being on display at the next level. My goal has always been to play at a collegiate level.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have demonstrated leadership both on the field and off the field. For example, on the field, I display leadership by always hustling and giving 110% of what I got. I make it my job to perform at my highest level. Off of the field, I display leadership by showing enthusiasm and keeping my teammates focused in the dugout. Whenever someone needs to be pepped up, I am always there for them.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete, I pursue a "healthy athletic performance" as being a person who can get it done both in the classroom and on the playing field. A healthy athletic performance means maintaining solid grades, producing solid performances, and maintaining a healthy/fit body and mindset. To be successful as a student-athlete, I believe those three key factors are the most important goals that one should have.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in my community in a few different ways. One way would be through my summer job. In the summer, I am involved in my community as a junior lifeguard on the Atlantic City Beach Patrol. In my job, I help to make sure that the lives of the people in my community are safe. I take much pride in my job, as I feel like am giving back to the community in an amazing way. Another way that I am involved in my community is through my local baseball league located in Atlantic City. I am a part of the league as an assistant and part-time coach for the Chelsea Little League baseball team. I love to see younger kids enjoy the game with a passion that I share with them.
