I was selected to be the alternate that the team took to Junior Nationals in California. There, our girls placed sixth in the Nation, which was a great showing for Asheville!
I was selected to go to the Western North Carolina Regional Science Fair for 3 years in a row and most recently received the honorable mentions award in my category.
I am on the A honor roll and take all honors and AP classes.
I was selected by my coaches to be the alternate rower that goes to Nationals for the Women’s 1V 4 who placed 6th in the Nation.
I would like to be recruited to play sports in college because I have a true passion and love of physical activity. I have been playing sports for my whole life and enjoy everything about them! I play basketball on rowing off season and row on the Asheville Youth Rowing crew. I am a very competitive person that you would want on your sports team, because I am willing to work hard and try my best to listen to and follow the directions of my coach.
I pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student athlete by making sure to eat enough before practice and drink plenty of water everyday.
