Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have played sports for years, and football is by far my favorite. I want to be able to play for many years after high school and college. I am a hard worker with very hard work ethic.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was defensive team captain this year for our JV team before I was injured. During offseason I worked as hard as possible to get back in shape, and while in doing so gained the respect of my teammates.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Every day I work out, lift weights, and run. This year I have cut off sodas and have not had one in ten months. I have also increased my bench by fifty pounds from November of 2015.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am in the Boy Scouts of America and am almost an eagle scout. Scouts are important to me because it gives me and other young men the chance to better ourselves and separate us from the pack.
