Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to play basketball especially in college, because I have always wanted more in life as I want to push myself to higher limits than I may not even know yet. That's the fun thing behind all of this, you never know what life will provide you with, and I am excited to see what college basketball provides for me. Regardless of the fact that I would love to play in college for basketball, if college basketball were the only good that came out of college, I would have wasted my time. I most especially want to go to college to learn more about both basketball and education under the authority of some of the best instructors in the world. I want to play basketball in college to continue my basketball career and become better everyday in which I can be successful.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

When I am off the court, I try to bring a positive and optimistic attitude to everything. I try to always set a good example for myself as an individual, and as a player with determination to go further in life, also to reach harder and higher limits in both my education and basketball. The example I present in both basketball and in education in itself is a diverse skill et in which my different approach to things is set as a standard, and from the experience I have in situations comes out to be represented as a leader.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I always put 100% effort on and off the court, by making sure my work is perfect. I do not accept bad work habits and poor results, and in my school and basketball career, I take pride in my work and make sure to make a statement of myself. As being more mature for my age, I have been able to take bigger challenges in life. I make sure I always use the same mentality on and off of the court; to do anything no matter who "is in your way." I take all of my school work very seriously, and make sure I always make my mark on the court by being committed and determined in everything around the game of basketball. I balance my time diligently as a student-athlete and having more advanced classes, I under go long nights of homework and more things to get done in the limited time in a day. Through the determination shown through basketball and my education, I always get my work done by any means necessary.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In the summer, I like to help in camps provided to the kids in the programs that I play for, and I like to spread my knowledge of my game throughout the kids at the camp. I also like to teach my little cousin, about what to do, and what not to do in the situations of the game, and in life. My sister works for a school (Occupational Therapy), in which she works with children under constant care since they have major disabilities, I have and am looking to help out with physical activities that their class of students undergo in everyday life (in school they do "gym," related activities). I think of basketball of simply a diverse game in which many personalities can be represented, and the love of the game can be brought into others' lives that want to learn about the game. I would like to continue to give my knowledge of the game that I have learned over the years and provide it to others that want to learn about it, or even just enjoy it. This past summer of 2018, I had been a camp counselor in my current residence; Oakland, NJ, and worked the Safety Town camp for 35 hours to teach young children about safety.
