Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

-I would like to play sports (basketball) in college because I want to have more knowledge of the game and compete at a higher level after high school. I want to also be recruited into college because I want to have a higher education while I'm in school.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

-One example of how I have shown leadership on the court is when other players and coaches start to get really "pumped up" because its crunch time and they start to say and do things they usually wouldn't so I have shown leadership by stopping what they are doing and calming them down.
-Another example of me showing leadership off of the court is that I'm trying to always help people in school and in the community.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

-I pursue healthy athletic performance by lifting weights, running and playing basketball every morning. I eat as healthy I can and stretch and ice during the night.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

-I am involved with community service quite often because I am part of an organization called FFA (Future Farmers of America), and in this organization we help a lot of the local farmers with their farms, and all kinds off services like planting trees in our town, plowing driveways when it snows, raking leaves, etc.
