Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

My family does not have the financial stability to pay for my college experiences. I also enjoy the sport of football and hope to work towards higher-academics while playing football.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been working towards becoming a captain of the football team for the 2017-18 season. I have taken control of the younger linemen to make sure they are prepared for the upcoming season.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I attend classes regularly, I do not skip, and after school I attend practice with the team. Once practice ends I prepare for work. After work I eat a well balanced dinner as well as complete my homework for the following day.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I attended a missions trip to the coal mining districts of Kentucky to help rebuild damaged homes for those who cannot afford repairs.
