Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I lead by example and try to create a positive environment for the crew members. there are many jobs and activities to accomplish to be able to put a boat out on the water. By keeping a positive and friendly environment, I feel it fosters community spirit that engages everyone.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I am an individual that can only contribute to the team as a whole if I do my individual best. Keeping myself strong and healthy as well as others individual doing the same, makes the pieces and parts come together as one more solidly.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Community service is a requirement for graduation. I have elected to try to complete 300 or more hours of community service because I feel it is important to give back to the community that was established to help you go forward.
