I am a driven, self motivated leader who leads by example setting standards for others to follow. Working as a team brings out indiviual successes and the ability to represent not only the coaches, players and staff but the school that everyone can be proud of.

I plan on working in Sports Management / Business. I look forward to representing with dignity and class - my name is Nicole Mandizha - I go by Nikki.....

I maintain Honor Roll status, I was invited to play in Puerto Rico against their college and travel team hosted by RBI DE Carolina, 3 day tournament. I was inducted into the home club in my freshman year of high school and continue to lead my travel team in home runs. I'm a three time MVP - one time MVP collegete showcase recipient and continue to lead in stolen bases RBI's and OBP.

Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

As a leader and a mentor I feel I can contribute not only to the athletic program and its continued success but academically I would represent the University / College with integrity and passion as a student and alumni.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a leader on and off the field I strive to mentor fellow teammates with their studies and their play on the field.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue a "healthy athletic performance" by balancing cardio, weights, and a healthy diet consistent with my training.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My parents are both Law Enforcement Officer's and have been for over 30 years. My mother is on the Honor Guard Unit and part of her duties is to work funerals of fallen hero's. Throughout the year we organize maintenence teams to post flags, clean grave sites and celebrate to ultimate sacrifices made by those who pledged their lives to protect us.
