Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

My academic career is very important to me as is my love of softball. Being a student athlete would fulfill my desire to continue my athletic career and be a well-rounded individual. I feel it takes a lot of dedication and discipline to be successful as a student AND an athlete; being recruited to play softball would be a major step towards that end result.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have worked with "Feed My Starving Children" for many years. I find its a good way to give back to my community and work as team with others that share a similar love of helping. I also do work through my schools chapter of FBLA in various charities. Most recently, we made blankets for sick children.
