Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play baseball in college so that I may further my education. I am a student-athlete and my education comes first.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been a starting pitcher on my high school varsity team since my sophomore year. I demonstrate my leadership on the field through hard work in the weight room and on the field improving my skills as a pitcher. I demonstrate my leadership off the field in the classroom by earning good grades (top 10%/3.75 GPA) and having good attendance.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

In addition to my high school daily athletic period, I utilize a yearly throwing and weight training program for in-season and off-season. This helps me improve and maintain my performance during in-season and off-season. I also include a daily healthy diet to support the demands my baseball strength and conditioning program.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lockhart, Texas. I attend church on a regular basis and have completed my sacraments to date.
