Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because I love the idea of competing at such a high level with other athletes that share a common interest. Competition drives me to train harder, desire to be better than I was yesterday or my opponent, and push myself to even higher standards.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Balancing academics with athletics can be a difficult task at times, but by managing my schedule and priorities I am able to maintain a "healthy athletic performance." The most important idea to remember is that academics come before athletics because if you fail to apply yourself academically, then you will not be able to succeed athletically. That is why I always try to complete my assignments early, which allows me more time to focus on athletics and less stress the night before it is due. In addition, my family and I always talk about the upcoming week to discuss what is going on and when I will be able to finish everything.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Over the years, I have participated in a wide range of service activities around my community. As a result of being a member of 4-H Club and Youth to Youth, I have been engaged in all kinds of various activities. From helping to raise money for an organization, to assisting in the management of paperwork and materials in, I am considered a well-rounded service volunteer.

All of the service activities that I have participated in have helped me to grow in a variety of ways. As a result of doing a majority of the activities in local communities, I have learned the importance of giving back and that places of donation are necessary for people who may be facing a hard time in life right now. In addition, not all activities have to focus on people that are struggling, they can be more amusement-oriented. Also, by helping younger generations, I feel a sense of satisfaction that I was involved in those kid's lives and may even have motivated some of them to strive to achieve more.
