Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I started hitting baseballs when I was four years old out of my Dad's hand. It is my earliest memory and my one true love. I believe baseball is a pure sport that teaches life skills, team work and makes players into not only good athletes, but good people. I want to play this game as long as I am able and continue to improve to every level that I am capable. You will not find a harder worker or a more passionate player.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

During the past winters snow, I took it upon myself to go throughout our neighborhood and clean the snow from our elderly neighbors drives and walkways

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As an aspiring athlete, it is important to be continually trying to get better and stronger and faster. I try to take care of what I put in my body by eating well, drinking lots of water and doing all kinds of outside activities plus regular workouts.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer regularly to help clean up the C&O Canal Hiking Trail. I have volunteered to pick up trash, remove weeds and debris and spoken to Park Rangers about ways to improve the cleanliness of the park. I also volunteer weekly at a 10U baseball clinic run by a non-profit to help teach and coach kids about baseball
