2015/2016 Team State Champions and District Champions
It has always been my dream to be a college athlete and I will continue working hard to achieve my goal. I started playing in 8th grade and never played club until this summer. I feel that there is a lot of room for improvement in my golf game and that I can be competitive in a college field. I also feel that golf has been a more enjoyable experience in High School, however, I wish to bring my game to a more competitive level as I have done in my volleyball and dance career. I also love the social aspect of golf.
I have also played club and school volleyball for the past 9 years where I have been captain of my team every year. For this upcoming school year I was voted as National Honor Society President.
It is relatively easy to eat healthy and practice hard but being a balanced student athlete takes way more dedication and effort. I work hard to eat healthy, exercise, and get plenty of sleep. My grades are important to me so I have learned to use my time well so that I can succeed in both my academics and my sport.
During the summer I volunteer for The First Tee 3 days a week.
I have also been teaching Sunday school at Christ the King for the past 6 years. As being a part of the National Honor Society in my school we do many services for the community. Such as: food drives, clothing drives, park clean ups, and a teachers breakfast for their appreciation week.
