Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

To be honest; my number one reason for playing soccer in college is basically because I LOVE SOCCER. Soccer is like meditation for me. It keeps my mind and my body active. I was raised KNOWING I would go to college. College is a must!! I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a computer science major with a minor in media or digital art. I feel technology would position me well into the future. I strive to be academically high. School is very important to me. I put high expectations to finish at or above a 3.8 GPA every year. For my “future” college coach I promise to be a dynamic player with a positive influence. I will strive to be an asset to my coach and team, on and off the field. I want to HELP my coach build a SOLID roster. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my collegiate soccer, I will conduct myself with honor working hard academically and athletically. I completely understand that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the college I represent.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was voted Captain my Sophomore year; for our varsity team. I have very strong work ethics. I lead my team by example by showing up on time; never missing practice nor a game and giving 100% of myself on the field with practice and games. My club coach and my High School Coach will both say I am very coachable with passion for the game. I am proud to say that I have not missed school since the 4th grade; earning awards and prizes for school attendance.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

My healthy lifestyle was actually mentored to me by my parents. I have very active parents. I keep in shape everyday by eating right and excising. I take organic supplements everyday and when I am not playing or training for soccer I go on power walks or runs with my mom. I still have a personal soccer trainer, plus I also do speed and agility training with a personal trainer.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved with the Junior Lions Club of Modesto, CA. I will continue this community service through high school. I enjoy feeding the hungry, putting on special needs proms, assisting the elderly, cleaning up our community and being a mentor for the younger generation.

I also have volunteered at "The Kendall Center" for Autistic and Asperger's Children of Modesto, CA. Helped the children with social activities through teaching and learning activities and play.
