Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited because I love to play lacrosse, I am an overall athlete. However, I know academics come first.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am the communicator and organizer of team activities on and off the field. I am constantly motivating my team mates, in good or bad situations/plays. I volunteer at Ronald McDonald House and feed the families going thru crisis. I help set up for The Fest which is a one day event and assist with the tents, stage, booths, etc. I am regularly involved with community activities and get involved.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I am keeping my education as a top priority, which allows me to feel balanced within my space. I work out and lift and run on days that I am not practicing. I engage in sponsored events off the field during the off season. I enjoy a round of golf (even if by myself) to clear my thoughts. I enjoy lacrosse and make it an important part of my overall future plans.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My community involvement are with the Sisters of Notre Dame with their annual barbeque and serving the patrons. I help at the event with clearing tables, sitting and cleaning. This is important to me because it's one of the largest fundraisers for the school and I like being a part of the success. These funds go to school improvements throughout the year. I also enjoy working at Ronald McDonald House and feeding the families going to a crisis. This opens my eyes to how not all people have it easy and understanding the difficulties and sadness. It is important to show people that I care about their situation. This is how I can help make them feel a little happier. I have set up at The Fest which is an event that brings families together. I assist with setting up tents, stages, booths and just a handy man with whatever is needed. In addition to my volunteerism, I have two jobs. I work as cart staff at a local golf course and I work at a local grocery food chain, Heinens and I bag, delivery groceries, stock shelf, etc.
