Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to continue playing the sport I enjoy playing. I want to have fun, build relationships, and positively contribute to my team.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field, I always take a leadership role. Especially on my club team, my coaches and my peers viewed me as a leader. Even though it was my first year on the team, the coaches still entrusted me with running drills, coaching up my teammates, and picking the defensive lineups and plays. I enjoyed being able to help my teammates and create a better team atmosphere. Off the field, I demonstrate leadership qualities. In the classroom, I often participate and help my classmates. I am a leader because I assist my peers when they need it, I lead small groups in discussion, and I voice the requests of my peers to my teachers.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student athlete, it is essential to maintain good grades, healthy eating habits, and an overall active lifestyle. I stay on top of my grades, performing well in both AP (college-level) and honors classes alike. I perform healthy eating habits and take care of my body, and I take the steps necessary to rejuvenate my body and rest.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I do missions trips with my youth group. These trips provide me with the opportunity to help out a community in need with my friends and peers. I enjoy helping because as much as I give, I always get something in return. Whether it be knowledge, experience, or a new relationship, these trips always provide something for me.
