Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Tennis is an integral part of my life. I prefer to be playing tennis over any other activity in my life. I have been fortunate to have worked with a terrific high school coach who was selected as State of Texas Coach of the Year - 5A in 2016. I would feel fortunate to have the opportunity to pursue this passion through my college years and contribute to the success of the tennis program at my chosen academic institution.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Example:
I have made it my mission to show kindness and leadership to incoming tennis freshmen and sophomores. I try to partner with them on the court during drills. Off the court I have organized movie nights to show the newest players on the team that they are welcome and that I am there to be a friend and help them feel at ease.

I am currently:
Senior Varsity Co-Captain - 2016 Team MVP Award

Mentor to Frisco High School Junior Varsity Team.

Plan and orchestrate team building activities for the JV and Varsity Tennis Teams.

Special activities for incoming high school freshmen on the tennis team

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I believe that to be the best tennis player I can be it is essential to balance life on the court with life off the court. I am as passionate about my academic performance as I am with my tennis performance. I will utilize any assistance provided and spend as many hours as is necessary to ensure I am on top of my game in both aspects of my life.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a strong believer that giving back to one's community is essential. I have been fortunate enough to be able to co-lead a Junior Girl Scout Troop, volunteer at Mazie's Mission (a local animal rescue organization), volunteer at Vacation Bible School, provide tennis lessons to beginning tennis students in Lone Star Ranch, work with Special Olympics in providing tennis lessons at Stonebriar Country Club and be a member of the Environmental Club, Varsity Club, Best Buddies, DECA, Frisco High School Orchestra and National Honor Society.
