Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because I want to continue to grow as a runner. The idea of that next level of running in college is very exciting to me.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have provided leadership on the field by organizing practices on non official practice days and trying to get as many people as I can to come out and participate. I have also shown leadership skills off the field by being a different high level officer of student council and being chair of several events for my school's homecoming and prom.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue "healthy athletic performance" by constantly focusing on what I consume. Being a runner it is very important what I eat and drink everyday because it can have huge affects on races.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am very involved in my community because I am a member of National Honor Society which strives for overall greatness in the classroom and in the community, I have been an officer of student council all four years of high school, and I am an active member of Without Divide club at my school which deals with gender equality and hosts fundraisers and is active in the community.
