Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Track is the sport I've dedicated to since I began playing sports in middle school. My passion is for track, and although I am able to go to college without it, track would make my college experience even better and I know I could contribute positively to whatever school recruits me.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field I am the main one that leads the team in our warm-up and constantly check that we have all our equipment before our race starts. Off the field I am looked up to in my classes and help other students when the teacher cannot assist them.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I make it my goal to eat, sleep, drink, and train my body right. I cannot expect to perform well if I don't take care of my body properly, or perform in the class room well.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a Junior Varsity and Varisty boys basketball manager for my high school. I have often volunteered to babysit at my church. I am a part of several academic clubs that require me to do service hours in the community. All of these enable me to be a humble athlete and never take things for granted.
