Most Valuable Athlete - Jumps - Walsh Jesuit High School

Pole vaulting has become a key part of my life and helps me keep balance. I really like the competition and working to achieve a goal. Being able to vault in college will push me to work hard, while providing the social interactions with my team and athletes from other schools.
On the track - Since my coach does work at my school, I coordinate all interactions with the other Vaulters. I provide all communications, arrange team events, confirm practice attendance, and confirm equipment for each meet. I also mentor the beginning vaulters prior to, during and after practice.
Off the Field - I tutor other students in math & science. I am also in a leadership role for our high schools retreat program.
Healthy performances are based off of balance. I work hard to set a school, track and social balance with my time. Most of my friends are also track athletes so that helps. Maintaining a set schedule helps keep things in order, so I work hard to manage my time.
I regularly volunteer at:
- St. Mary's Parish - Red Cross Drives
- St. Mary;s Parish - Feed My Sheep Community Garden
- Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Polar Express
