Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to continue to grow as an athlete and player for 4 more years. I believe that sports teaches valuable lessons about hard work, winning with grace, losing with dignity and working together with multiple people to achieve a goal.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been captain on both my high school and club teams. I was promoted to captain mid-way through my club year because my coach recognized and wanted to reward my outstanding effort as a player and leader. My role as captain allowed me to provide an example of hard work and discipline to my teammates.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I am able to maintain Honor Roll status while playing club volleyball and singing in the Choir and playing piano as an elective.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have volunteered as a youth leader in my church both in the summer and during the school year on weekends. I have volunteered as a leader to teach volleyball to younger students. I have volunteered with public safety programs with the local police department.
