Personal Highlights

Although I haven't been diving for very long, I have a strong gymnastics background that has made it a very easy transition into diving. Right now I am working on trying to improve my form and increase my difficulty on both 1m and 3m.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because I feel that I would really enjoy the environment and the team aspect of sports in college. I grew up doing gymnastics at a gym that college gymnasts trained and I saw the relationships among the girls and how close they were and I would love to have that in college. Also, I really enjoy diving and I think being on the team will not only benefit me physically and with my diving abilities but also help me keep an organized lifestyle by staying focused and managing my time.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

To pursue a healthy athletic performance, I plan to balance my time with my team, practices, and school so I don't get to overwhelmed and stressed. I also plan to maintain a healthy lifestyle with the right kinds of food to fuel my body along with exercises to keep my ligaments and tendons strong to prevent injuries. Another part is I will keep a strong relationship with my fellow teamates in order to have a strong support system for any problems that may occur athletically to have a faster recovery to get back to my athletics.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in my community by being involved in our high school's Key Club volunteering program. Within the past year, I have done over 60 hours of volunteering service in my community. These are important to me because I love helping others and seeing how happy and appreciative others are of my help.
