Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love softball and I want to study medicine. By being recruited, it will allow me to find the best match for me both academically and athletically!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field, I learned how to pitch for my middle school softball team. I did this because no one knew how and I really wanted the other girls(who don't play softball) to learn to love the sport as much as I do. Off the field, I am a leader by making sure my grades are up, I attend private lessons, and I help around the house.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue a healthy athletic performance by using wise freedom. This is a tool I learned in middle school. I balance my athletic life, academic life, and social life to maintain sanity. Too much of any of those can cause unwanted stress. Having one day a week to relax and recoup allows me to keep a healthy balance and nourish my body and mind.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I attend monthly community service projects with my school. I believe social awareness plays a major role in life as we are all called to help those who need it.
