Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

-I would like to be recruited as a way to take off the everyday stress that college brings to a student. Being recruited would be a good way to take my mind off of the everyday grind by doing something I love.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

-On the ice, I try to help my team better understand a situation and try to get them in the right position for our benefit.
Off the ice, I participate in a mentor program at my high school to help the under classmen get acustomed to high school life.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

-My main concern before sports is that my grades are where they need to be. If my grades are struggling, then my attention turns more to those in order to be able to play again.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

-I am apart of the National Honors Society at my school, which focuses on community service projects around the city of Belleville. These are important to me because they teach me that it is good to help others and not to just focus on yourself all of the time.
