Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love sports and especially love rowing. Watching these athletes at the ext level compete and become better not only as athletes but as people really drives me to want to compete at the next level.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a leader on and off the field by showing people how to do certain things around the boathouse and helping them with workouts along with pushing them to become better athletes. At home I am the oldest of three children so most of the time I have to be more mature and help parent and help out around the house

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

A way that I pursue "healthy athletic performance" is delegating and making sure that all aspects of my life are taken care of. I make sure after a long week of double practices and training I take a day to rest my body and get ready for the next week. Along with fueling my body with healthy foods and drinks that help me stay in the shape that I need.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In my community I help out with learn to rows, and also help feed the homeless at least once a month. It is important to be a well rounded athlete that has multiple aspects of life that they excel at. Helping people that are less fortunate than I am makes me happy and helps me put my life in perspective.
