Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because I enjoy playing sports and I can't see myself not doing it in college. I love being around people and having fun.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have demonstrated leadership on the field by directing my teammates where to stand on the field after realizing that the ball was going to go to the same area during face-off, and when we needed spacing on the field. I have demonstrated leadership off the field by coordinating a Summer College Enrichment Program to bring in college recruiters to educate my fellow classmates about college and the corporate world.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance as a student-athlete by always getting my studies done first before practicing or games. Between studying and playing lacrosse, I always make sure that I am eating and drinking plenty of water. If balancing my studies and lacrosse gets overwhelming, I give myself a moment to breathe, calm down, and I address my situation accordingly.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in service in my community by helping teachers around my school, teaching children the fundamentals of lacrosse, and volunteering with organizations such as, Habitat for Humanity and Toys for Tots. I know that giving service to the community is very important. Therefore, I look forward to participating in more community service.
