Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Running track at a collegiate level feels like the next step for me. My coaches feel as though those would be my most competitive years. I have been injured from the start of my senior year Cross country season, however this would only motivate me during college to make up for the races and experiences I missed out on. I, also, feel as though running in college would help keep me organized because it would a similar schedule to High School.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a cross country captain, I understand that my team members need a leader more than they need a friend. For instance, while doing hard workouts underclassmen do not need a friend to complain about the workouts to but a leader who will encourage them to finish. That being said I also exercise me leadership in the classroom. Though I not know how to solve problems in math I try to start conversations within a group to help myself, as well as other, learn how to solve it.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I would try to eat as healthy as college life offers, as well as getting as much sleep as needed for college optimal collegiate performance.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
