Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I would like to be recruited to play sports in college because I will enjoy the community of the team and I also aspire to better myself further in golf after high school. I have improved a great deal in a short period of time. I know I will continue to improve and develop into a stand-out athlete for any program.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have demonstrated leadership in both golf through my golf team and off of the field by volunteering my service to others. I routinely volunteer at Heroes on Horseback, which is an organization that helps disabled children learn to ride a horse and gain a greater sense of independence. In my position as a side-walker I ensure that the children are safely on the horse before they begin to independently ride their horse.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance as a student-athlete by making sure to manage my energy by eating healthy both on and off the course. I make sure to take adequate food for enough energy for the whole round and ration out certain amounts for certain holes. I am also a firm believer in good fitness and I regularly practice yoga and fitness stretching.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
