Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to get recruited to play Field Hockey in college because I am always ready to push myself to get better and I am ready to push my athletic ability to the next level.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On and off the field I would still consider myself as a leader, a good and positive attitude always comes first, people always look up to a positive attitude. When I am off the field I am always willing to help others, and be there for people. I am always willing to help my friends, family, and my team mates. My positive attitude on the field pushes everyone to give their hardest and to not give up and to not put their head down no matter what the outcome in the game is.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student athlete I watch my diet, I make sure I get all the protein, carbs, and etc. I also make sure that I am hydrated before games, and practices. So I drink about 4-5 bottles of water the night prior. I also make sure I get enough sleep, so I go to bed early so that way I can have enough energy the next day. I also exercise daily, I look at my weaknesses, and exercise to get those certain muscles stronger. I also consider watching film as an exercise, but its a mental exercise. It shows me what I can improve on and what to do in a similar situation. It allows you to know the game better.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I help out at Charlestown Retirement home serving food to elderly and planning activities for them to do. I also participate in youth group on Wednesdays and we also serve food and other goods to the homeless.
